FAQ 1: I have never made my own E-Covers before, or my graphic design skills is minimal at best. Do I need any previous experience to use My Instant Covers?
Answer: No previous experience is necessarily required in order to use My Instant Covers. The Photshop Action Scripts take your 2D flat cover design and converts it into 3D E-Cover within seconds.
How the system works
eBook Cover Action Soft provides Photoshop Action Scripts which can be activated in Photoshop.
Therefore, it is essential to know the following 3 points about the Action Script, how that can be loaded into the Photoshop and how it can be activated.
First of all, download the 30 days trial version (www.adobe.com) or install in to your computer. Launch Photoshop. Click "Actions" in "Window" menu. Click the top right side corner of the "Action tab" below the "Close button". In the pull-down menu, click "load actions", select your action file, and click "load" button.
Now your "action script is loaded. Select "setup 1" in the new action and click "play" button. Wait till the action is complete, and click "stop". The first setup is over. Create whatever way you want your design, changing font, background color, etc., but take care not to change the size. Then select "setup 2" and click "play" button. Wait till the action is over and then click the "Stop" button. Now you can save the image either for the web or for printing by choosing "setup 4" or "setup 5" whichever is applicable. And you can effect image color changing by choosing "setup 3".
FAQ 2: I don't know how to make my own 2D flat covers. Will you be teaching me how to do this?
Answer: Yes, this is covered in one of the video tutorials. I have recorded my 'on screen' step-by-step presentation on how to make a 2D flat cover design in minutes. This is by no means a comprehensive course to professional graphic designing, but at the end of the video tutorial you will know how to make your own simple but professional flat design cover.
FAQ 3: What are my system requirements needed to run the Action Scripts?
Answer: All you need is Adobe Photoshop CS, CS2, CS3, CS4 or CS5. You can get a free trial download here, though I highly recommend you buy this program if you don't have it installed in your computer yet.
FAQ 4: Are the Action Scripts compatible with programs other than Adobe Photoshop?
Answer: No. To date, there are no other known programs that are compatible with the Photoshop Action Scripts.
